Red Pepper Edamoli Pinwheels
Spread a generous amount of Red Pepper Basil Edamoli onto a
spinach wrap or wrap of choice, leaving about an inch at each end
without the spread. Layer a few slices of turkey breast lunch meat on
top of spread, then a couple slices of Gouda deli cheese, then roasted
red peppers, then fresh basil. Sprinkle with oil and vinegar and season
with salt and pepper if desired. Roll the wrap tightly, adding a small
amount of spread at the very end to help seal the roll. Wrap in Saran
wrap tightly and chill or even par freeze for awhile to help the roll hold
its form. Slice roll into 1/2" pinwheels and serve. Your guests will love
Wasabi Edamoli Shrimp Appetizers
Marinade small to medium shrimp, cooked and cooled, in a Ponzu
sauce. While marinading, spread Wasabil Edamoli on your favorite
crustini or cracker. Place shrimp on the spread, then top with fresh
chives and orange zest. Mmmm! Delicious!
Wasabi Edamoli Sushi
On a bamboo rolling mat, spread a generous amount of Wasabi
Edamoli onto a sheet of Nori, shiny side down, leaving 1" at the end of
the roll clear. Add a layer of sushi rice or quinoa (for a healthier
choice). In a tight row in the center of the nori, line up on top of each
other 1/4" x 3" strips of carrots, cucumber, avocado then real crab meat
or sushi grade tuna. Make sure not to overload the nori. The bulk of
these should be less than an inch. Use rolling mat to tightly roll sushi
with the open section of nori exposed. Once the roll is complete, slice in
half, then in equal pieces to make 6-8 individual sushi pieces. Top with
an additional dab of Wasabi Edamoli for the finishing touch. Sooo tasty!
Garlic Bread Edamoli
Spread a small amount of olive oil or butter on a halved loaf of French
bread, then Garlic Edamoli, then a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese,
Bake at 400 for 10 minutes or til done.
Garlic Edamoli Bruscetta
Spread Garlic Edamoli on baguettes, then top with a teaspoon of
bruscetta and sprinkle with Parmesan. Delicious cold or baked.
Garlic Edmoli Mash
Combine Garlic Edamoli your favorite mashed potato recipe, cauliflower
mashed or any vegetable mash.
Jalapeno Edamoli with Black Bean Salsa
Stuff 1" filo cups with 1 teaspoon of Jalapeno Edamoli, then top with
black bean salsa
Black bean salsa as follows: Combine 1 cup black beans, 1/2 cup corn
(frozen that has been cooked and cooled preferred), 1 tablespoon red
onion, 1 tablespoon diced carrots, 1/4 cup shredded red cabbage, 1/4
cup jalapeno, 3 tablespoons olive oil and 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice,
dash of cumin, corriander and cayenne, salt and pepper to taste.
Saute 1/4 cup onion and 1 tablespoon garlic, minced. Brown 1lb.
ground beef or ground turkey. Season with cumin, corriander,
cayenne, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer 10 minutes. Let cool
Layer in 8x8 baking dish the following: Small amount of oil, butter or
juice from the meat to keep dish from sticking to pan. 1 large soft shell
tortilla or wrap. Spread Jalapeno Edamoli on tortilla, then layer meat
mixture, black beans, green chillies, fresh sliced jalapenos, shredded
cheese. Repeat layering. Bake for 20 minutes at 375 or until cheese is
melted as desired.
